Hypnotized

Hypnotheraphy

Hypnotherapy can be used to treat a wide range of anxieties, phobias, substance abuse including tobacco, sexual dysfunction, undesirable spontaneous behaviours, limiting beliefs and bad habits.

There are so many misconceptions when it comes to hypnotherapy, but the most common I have so far come across is that it is more for the ‘free spirit’ type person and that it doesn't work on most people. Actually about 60% of people are susceptible, 20% highly susceptible and only 20% have difficulty achieving the state of relaxation needed for hypnosis. In these cases however, I have found that it is because the individuals are struggling with an overall lack of relaxation techniques in their daily life. Once they have been given the tools to cope, and practice their down time, they too can have success with hypnotherapy.

Hypnotherapy works with the subconscious mind, and considering that it takes in pretty much everything, but the conscious mind only maybe about 10% of our surrounding it's understandable that changes are easier to implement in a state of hypnotic trance. The conscious mind, has doubt, insecurities, is always weary and easily led to the ‘what if’ patterns of thinking. The subconscious mind however is like an obedient child that takes positive suggestions easily.

Many don't give it the recognition that it deserves, and in my professional opinion I find this is because people simply don't know very much about the topic. I feel confident in saying this, as I was one of those people not too many years ago.  Once I saw how effective the techniques were, I quickly changed my mind. Most people are naturally in a state of hypnosis at least twice a day. Often when just waking up or falling asleep. It's called a power state, and it's the perfect time to practice positive self talk.

Life Coaching

Life coaching works from the present and is goal oriented. You’ll start enjoying taking accountability for yourself to ensure goals are being met or actively worked on.

The idea of self improvement is nothing new. The term life coaching seemed to start circulating in the 1980 and started in the business and sports industries to support performance. However, more recently society seems to have adopted coaching into maneuvering through life itself.  It has since become a multi-million pound industry with an estimated 100,000 life coaches globally.

The biggest misconception is that life coaching is another form of psychotherapy for depressed people.  The truth is many successful people use life coaches, and you do not need to be suffering in life to benefit from working with one. Life coaching is about strategically making the best out of your life, being proactive and held accountable for the plan you make for yourself. It is far more technical than most people realise. Life coaches are not spiritual gurus or agony aunts, but through encouraging their clients to delve into their own selves and take a closer look, goals and action plans can be set to work towards.

Managing life just doesn't come easy sometimes- and that's ok! We are complex beings and highly intellectual creatures. Our entire being is basically a myriad of chemical reactions and collisions that spark between every cell in our bodies continuously. Once we grasp that it's not just our emotions taking, but chemical reactions taking place in our body, we can learn to live a more fulfilling life.

You're never going to regret investing in yourself.

NLP

Neuro Linguistic Programming is the art and science of human behaviour and is about modelling success. By analysing words and sentences we can work on rephrasing the 'limiting belief' vocabulary and use more neutral or positive alternatives. This is a great place to start your transition because it's easy yet effective. It's one of the Y Practices favourites with clients. It's the wow factor.

Neuro linguistic programming originated in the United States in the 1970 and is the science and art of human behaviour.  It was initially the study of high performance individuals and a revolutionary approach to human communication and personal self development.  NLP has moved from the business and sports areas to the mainstream more recently, but still many are unfamiliar with how transformational it can be.

By looking at results, and dissecting the behaviour of successful game changing type people, one can easily implement these techniques into one's own behaviour. Your mind has an operating system, and certain things are hard wired into that system. However, people are capable of instant change, shifting their negative emotions and getting rid of unlimiting beliefs. Programming your language will allow you to tap into your empowerment and achieve the results you've been unable to achieve previously. The way we use language is so important for it can sometimes be holding us back without us even realising it.
